Silicone rubber is a high-performance synthetic elastomer known for its flexibility, heat resistance, and chemical stability. It performs well in extreme temperatures, ranging from -60°C to 300°C, making it ideal for applications in automotive, medical, and electronics industries.

Advantages

  • Operating temperature rar °C in air: -50 °C to +220 °C
  • Biocompatibility: Non-toxic and suitable for medical devices like implants and tubing.
  • Hardening between 20 Shore A and 90 Shore A
  • Chemical and UV Resistance: Resists oxidation, ozone, and many chemicals.
  • Heat and Cold Resistance: Maintains flexibility and strength in extreme temperatures.
  • Electric Resistant, for example, to aliphatic engine and gear oils, flame-retardant hydraulic fluids HFD-R and  HFD-S and glycol-based brake fluid.

Scope of Application

Food contact: e.g. valves in the food industry, coffee machine seals, transport.
Dynamic applications: absorbers, membranes, etc.
Special applications: door and window seals in aviation, rollers, etc.
